We have released several more badges on the Badges At Home feature for Cubs on the Parent Portal, this allows Cubs to pick badges they want to complete at your leisure at home, these are badges we encourage Cubs to complete outside Pack meetings during their time in Cubs. Within the two year programme we only have time to cover a couple of badges the Cubs provide feedback on during pack forums a couple times a year, we concentrate on the challenge badge requirements during our meetings and camps programme planning mostly.

We encourage providing evidence for badges via the parent portal system to help leaders keep a good Scouting and own family balance, it can take a lot of admin keeping track of evidence submitted and we can’t keep track of every badge requirement, there is a lot of them 😊. We still encourage the Cubs to share with leaders and other Cubs what they have completed and achieved outside pack meetings at our weekly meetings, so please still bring items to pack meeting to share. This just helps us keep track and not miss anything when performing our badge admin, even if it’s a comment provided details to Chil during pack meeting for example helps out a lot.
