Overview of Badges at Home via Parent Portal
This page provides some more information on the Badges at Home feature of the Parent portal, you need to be registered to utilise the system so please read the post regarding registering here first.
We will be releasing badges on a regular basis during the lock down and let you know via the groups Facebook Group or Messenger when these have been released.
The system provides a way for you to provide the evidence to leaders on the requirements your child’s completed on a badge at home. This will saves items getting lost within leaders messenger applications or personal email accounts and leaders can then set aside time to check if any submission have been done in one place and award the badges more easily for you and the leaders.
The system also allows you to ask any questions you have about a badges requirements and this will alert the leaders when questions have been asked, the leaders can then answer the question directly within the system and you will be alerted when we answer if you have turned on notifications.

FAQ
You should have received an invite to to register an account for your child via the leader of your section via email. Please contact your leader direct, who can resend the link if not received and check your email address is correct on the system. Maybe also check your spam folder and whitelist the sending email address for future emails.

Please provide some details of where you are stuck in an email to your section leaders e.g. Beavers ([email protected]) Cubs ([email protected]) or Scouts ([email protected]). Provide details on the best time and number to give you a call if required and someone will be in contact asap.
If you would like to complete a badge not currently activated for Badges at Home then please discuss this with Chil via email [email protected], who can release the badge to be completed from home for the Cubs section. Once the systems activiated for all sections, please contact your sections leader directly [email protected] and [email protected].
